Introducing the Pocket Bag: Designed for Life on The Move…

The Juggle is Real!

Every day, we all juggle roles, job’s, parenting pets children or both! Rushing between endless (often thankless) tasks, and switch settings from daylight to dusk. It was this rushing from one thing to another, one place to the next, amidst the hustle of commutes and the clutter of essentials crammed into my pockets, that the idea of the Pocket Bag came to me. As someone who’s always on the go, teaching fashion and running a business by day and navigating the city by night, I found myself in search of an essentials bag that wasn't just practical but also had a bit of charm and elegance.

The Journey From Idea to Accessory

The Pocket Bag isn't just another item in your collection; it's the result of a quest for a bag that feels like a natural extension of your outfit - from lectures and meetings to dinners out. It needed to be versatile, effortlessly stylish, and, above all, functional. What sets it apart is its ability to morph from a crossbody to a chic arm accessory, thanks to a thoughtfully designed strap and eyelets. And for those days that call for a bit more flair, flip it to reveal our signature Eleanor pattern.

Crafted with care from vegetable-tanned leather sourced from gold and silver rated tanneries within Europe, adorned with a 24k gold (or silver) plated chain, this bag marries sustainability with a touch of luxury. The choice of material and the decision to make it reversible were intentional, ensuring your accessory adapts to any outfit or occasion.

A Closer Look at Craftsmanship

Creating something that looks simple yet meets all these criteria was anything but. The Pocket Bag's journey involved five prototypes crafted from the would be discarded leather, each one a step closer to the ideal balance of form and function, the challenge was to create something that looked as elegant as a bag, but still feel like a pocket, so crafting it without side panels or gussets without wasting a single piece of leather. Was very difficult but we persevered. This process wasn't just about design; it was about respect for the materials and the craft.

In line with our belief in quality over quantity, the Pocket Bag will be a limited edition available in two colour ways. This isn’t about exclusivity for its own sake; it’s about offering something special that can stand the test of time and trend.

As we launch the Pocket Bag, we’re inviting you to make it a part of your daily rhythm. It’s more than just a bag—it’s a go to for those on-the-move moments, a piece that complements your life and values. We hope you have enjoyed a quick insight into the story behind its creation and have discovered why it might just be the versatile piece you've been looking for.
