Our Story

Established in 2021 by husband and wife team, James and Karen Priestley and nestled in the heart of Lincolnshire. Our brand's origins stem from James's time as a submariner. During long patrols away from home for four or five months with no contact with anyone. James would leave me handwritten letters for each week he was gone, along with clues to discover the next note and a little luxury. This romantic and thoughtful gesture inspired the essence of our brand to create little luxuries for others, creating cherished memories that endure for years to come. When we had our daughters, Eleanor and Evelyn, they became our inspiration, to create timeless classic and elegant pieces that could last a life time and more. They inspired our timeless design and approach to traditional craftmanship.

Craftmanship & Design

Drawing on Karen's expertise in Fashion and Textiles, our distinctive surface patterns are meticulously applied in-house at our Lincolnshire workshop. Each piece is designed and crafted in line with circular design principles. Inspired by our daughters to create timeless heirloom pieces, we have embraced traditional artisanal leather techniques. This unwavering commitment ensures that every piece withstands the test of time, embodying the timeless values of impeccable craftsmanship and uncompromising quality.

Responsible sourcing & Circularity

Every piece is handcrafted using responsibly sourced leathers from gold and silver rated tanneries within Europe. Selecting the finest full-grain leathers that are renowned for their quality, eco-friendly production methods and exceptional durability. Our commitment to circular design is ingrained in every creation, guaranteeing that longevity, repairability, and uncompromised luxury are seamlessly woven into our designs.
