Your brand has a story to tell — through the spaces you shape, the experiences you create, and the details people remember long after they leave. Priestleys works with businesses, hospitality teams and established brands to craft bespoke leather pieces — from menu covers and bill presenters to personalised accessories and client gifting — that bring those stories to life.

Every commission begins with your world: the atmosphere you want to create, the values you stand for, the feeling you want people to carry with them. From there, we design and handcraft pieces that become part of that experience — quietly elevating the everyday.

Each piece is made using vegetable-tanned leather sourced directly from Leather Working Group-certified and independently audited tanneries. Our packaging is plastic-free, our patterns are designed for minimal waste, and every piece is built to last and be repaired rather than replaced. For brands working toward B-Corp certification or with active sustainability commitments, we can share full sourcing details of the leathers we use — where they come from and the tanneries they are made in — so your procurement team has complete visibility of your supply chain.

Everything is made to order by hand in our Lincolnshire studio. Designed around your story, crafted to last, and made to reflect the values you want people to feel the moment they arrive.

    Description goes here

The Sycamore Lincoln

A clear glass vase with water holding a green leafy plant on a wooden table, with a gray menu and a pink decorative plate in the background.

The Sycamore is one of Lincoln's best-kept secrets. Tucked away on West Parade, it is a café, bar and restaurant that manages to feel simultaneously relaxed and considered — the kind of space where the food is taken seriously, the décor makes you stay longer than you planned, and the atmosphere shifts seamlessly from a morning coffee to a late evening dinner.

Bold, confident interiors. Warm, unhurried hospitality. A space that clearly knows exactly what it is.

The Sycamore is one of several venues owned by Jamie — a growing family of independent cafés and a bed and breakfast across the Lincoln area. We hope this is the beginning of a longer conversation across all of them.

The brief

Jamie needed menu covers that could carry the weight of the space — bold enough to sit alongside the Sycamore's interiors, refined enough not to compete with them. The covers needed to work across the full day, from the relaxed café service through to the more formal evening restaurant. Hard-wearing, luxurious, and considered in equal measure.

What we made

Thirty-five A5 menu covers in a slate grey vegetable-tanned leather — timeless and muted, chosen to complement the Sycamore's bold, saturated interior palette rather than echo it. Where the space is vivid and characterful, the leather is calm and grounding. The two work together rather than competing.

The Sycamore's branding was blind-debossed directly into the leather — no foil, no colour. A refined, understated finish that is felt as much as seen. Subtle in the hand. Permanent.

Every cover hand cut, hand stitched and hand finished in our Lincolnshire studio. Each one made to exactly the same standard. Each one built to soften and deepen with every service.

The detail that matters

Slate grey vegetable-tanned leather will not stay the colour it arrives. Over months of daily use — opened at every table, handled at every service, laid flat and picked up hundreds of times — it will deepen slightly, soften at the corners, and develop a quiet patina that no new cover has. The branding pressed into it will become more defined, not less. That is what vegetable-tanned leather does. It improves with the life it is part of.

A menu cover is one of the most-handled objects in a restaurant. It should be made accordingly.

Hare and Hound Fulbeck

A village pub/ restaurant with a thoughtful, design‑led approach, The Hare & Hounds has become a much‑loved spot in the heart of Fulbeck. With a focus on traditional dishes, considered interiors and a welcoming atmosphere, the team wanted menu covers that felt as intentional as the rest of the space — tactile, durable and quietly elevated.

The Brief

To create handcrafted leather menu covers that would sit naturally within the pub’s aesthetic: warm, understated and built to last. The pieces needed to feel refined without being precious, and able to stand up to daily service while ageing beautifully over time.

What We Made

We produced a set of vegetable‑tanned leather menu covers, each cut, moulded and finished by hand in our Lincolnshire studio. The covers were designed to develop a rich patina with use, becoming part of the pub’s character over time. Branded subtly and made in small batches, every piece is unique — a quiet expression of craft in a busy hospitality setting.

Case Studies

The Boot and Shoe

Leather crafting tools and supplies, including leather pieces, a stitching awl, a rubber mallet, a utility knife, scissors, a metal machine part, and leather pieces with embossed text, arranged on a cutting mat and wooden surface.

The Boot and Shoe is a beautiful restaurant and boutique hotel, known for its warm hospitality, seasonal menus and relaxed, contemporary dining. They returned to us, after we created menu covers and bill presenters for their sister restaurant The White Horse. For the Boot and Shoe they came to us looking for leather pieces that would elevate their guest experience while standing up to the demands of daily service, and additional pieces for their guest rooms.

The Brief

They needed a cohesive set of menu covers and bill presenters that felt premium, tactile and aligned with their interior aesthetic. The challenge was creating pieces that were both beautifully made and durable enough for high‑turnover use, with branding that felt subtle rather than loud.

What We Made

We created a full suite of leather service pieces, including structured menu covers and hand‑cut, stitched and finished bill presenters. Each piece was crafted in a warm, heritage‑inspired colourway, using durable full‑grain leather chosen for its ability to age gracefully. The branding was blind‑debossed for a refined, understated finish that complements their space.

The Palms Collective

A mirror with green sticky notes attached to its frame, a small green dish, and a wooden table in a cozy room with blurred background furniture and window.

The Palms Collective is a modern, design‑led salon known for its thoughtful approach to hair, beauty and client experience. With a team of individual specialists, they needed a way to present their services clearly and beautifully to clients.

The Brief

They required a flexible menu system that allowed them to print and update each specialist’s page in‑house, without reprinting entire menus every time something changed. The challenge was creating a folder that kept everything organised, easy to update, and visually cohesive — while reducing printing costs and giving each stylist control over their own information.

What We Made

We designed a bespoke leather menu/folder that allows pages to be added, removed or rearranged as needed. Each cover was hand‑cut, in a colour to match the salon’s interior palette. Their branding was blind‑debossed for a quiet, understated finish. The result is a practical, durable and beautifully presented system that showcases all stylists and services in one place.
