The Priestleys slimline clutch bag is handcrafted in our Lincolnshire studio from full‑grain, vegetable‑tanned leather, named Eleanor after our eldest daughter and inspired by the idea of the handbag as a finishing touch — the thing that completes an outfit without competing with it.

Inside, a luxurious Italian suede lining and a discreet internal pocket offer a considered contrast to the structured exterior. The exclusive Eleanor lace pattern sits on the exterior of the bag, and a bespoke zip — chosen in gold or silver — finishes each piece individually.

Available in Black, Tan, Forest Green, and Mulled Wine, with a choice of four suede lining colours: Indigo, Lilac, Wheat, and Green. Personalise with your initials on the front.

The Origin of the Eleanor Clutch bag

Taking inspiration from the 1900s and the notion of a handbag being the perfect finishing touch to any outfit, the Eleanor Slimline Clutch has been designed to be a timeless and classic clutch bag that is lightweight refined and elegant. This is the second product designed in the Priestleys range, with our unique signature Eleanor pattern named after our eldest daughter.

Product

Each product is cut, stitched and finished by hand, here in the UK from vegetable-tanned, full grain leather, which is sourced responsibly.
Where possible keep leather products away from water. If it does get wet, pat dry with a clean cloth and let it air dry.
High quality leather ages gracefully, after some time you may see signs of this in the form of marks and patina (a darkening of the leather). This is the natural ageing process and the sign of a well loved product.
